Wang Liyou, born in Liaoning Province in 1998, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 with a bachelor's degree, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 with a master's degree, and now lives and works in Beijing. His paintings focus on pure form, making the natural significance of the object a gateway to understanding the essential meaning of the image by creating an absence or invisibility of traditional meanings, where objects, space, color are linked to the understanding of identity and the treatment of flatness. By decoding and arranging the visual elements, the artist constructs a newspaper theater in three-dimensional space, reflecting and embodying the artist's thoughts on current social phenomena and personal identity.His works have been collected by X Museum 、Start Museum and other institutions.
