Born in Venezuela in 1999, artist Corina Dorrego lives and works in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. She has had her own artwork featured in recent shows in Providence, one of which she also curated. Her work mixes textiles and natural materials that explore relationships between water bodies and their natural shore landing objects, reflecting on memories of growing up by the petroleum-contaminated Lake Maracaibo.
