Isabel Cavenecia is a Peruvian/Dutch artist who was born in 1990. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague in 2014. She has exhibited her works at several galleries and museums such as FOAM, Netherlands; Kunstenhuis Harelbeke, Belgium; TAC, Netherlands; and 8 Salon, Germany. She is known for her sensitive graphite and pastel drawings, where she investigates the relationship between emotions and surroundings. Currently, she is sponsored by the Mondriaan Fund to realize her intuitive drawing project in the southwest USA, where she explores the silence of the desert and its inhabitants.
