Born in 1956 in San Francisco, Karen Barbour is a visual artist and author based in Northern California. She earned her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and her BA from UC Davis. Karen has shown with Jack Hanley Gallery in New York and Anthony Meier Fine Arts in Mill Valley, CA, and recently took part in a White Columns group show focused on ceramics. Karen has also exhibited with White Columns and Jack Hanley Gallery at Felix Art Fair, NADA New York, and NADA Miami.
